IT'S BEGINNING TO LOOK ALOT .............

little by little day by day I scream inside ffro December to get here. I have a little of my Christmas things starting to come out of the shelves and out of the closets. Nativity Scene salt and pepper shakers.......I don't use them I just put them out to display Christmas.

My brand new cookie cutters that are metal....i dried when I got these.....they just reminded me of when I was little and my gramma would bake at Christmas time.

Ans the rest of the pile that is starting out small but by the time Dec 1 is here I want it to be over flowing!!!

GOD KNEW BEFORE WE KNEW

God knew that Ernestine would be my dear friend, before I ever knew anything about her. Now still really not knowing eachother, we are in contact almost each and everyday!

She is a sister in Christ that I will always have, all because of blogging.

We are probably miles beyond miles apart, and we still have alot of things in commen...and God knew this!

Thank You my dear sweet friend for the kind words, the beautiful pictures and the wonderful friendship!

We both had no idea about eachother.........But God did!

TRIP IN REVIEW

For some reason, when I blog it doesn't put my pictures in the order that I want it so instead of going from start to finish we are going from finish to start. My sister and I ended our mini vacation, with a stop at the Cat walk in New Mexico, it was so beautiful....the colors the leaves(which I happened to have taken a few) the water falls it was soooo beautiful, something only one can experience and have your breath taken away....and not from the hike either...that right there is a whole other story.....we my sister and I hiked UP hill for about 3miles.....I had to stop I thought I was going to pop a lung.....it is a good thing I am saved because I thought I might die. I will soon post more pictures.

My hearty breakfast at the Bear Wallow...now Alpine is a small little teeny tiny town that everyone knows everyone.....literally, I couldn't find my mom's business so we stopped and asked the librarian...and new in a nano second where I could find her.

Now this was our view from our window at the restaurant, first a good eaten and then a perfect view....that's Alpine for ya!

And last but not least the cabin..I love that cabin...take in mind I would never want to live there this is a wonderful place to visit 2 days max, but that is where I draw the line....I needs me some Walmart, and Dollar tree, and Safeway, this whole having to travel 30 miles to get the few things is for the birds.

But I am glad to be home, it was nice while it lasted but it was satisfying to come home and break up the brother fights once again.....HOME SWEET HOME!!!

A MOM'S ROAD TRIP

I am going to post this today on my blog, since I will be gone tomarrow. My sister and I are doing a very small raod trip to Alpine, Az tomarrow, that's right just the 2 of us...it's only a over night thing, but we are giddy like little girls.

This is the first time ever that we have ever gone on a road trip together.....away from our family's....and children free!!

I will be sure to post some breath taking pictures with facts once I come home!!!!

EVERYDAY I LOOK FOR SOMETHING CHRISTMASY

I absolutely love this figurine....I am in need of finding one...but I have come up empty handed...

I remember the commercials when I was little about Santa and Coke cola....you better believe that I left him a coke or two with his cookies, because really what goes down better with blossom cookies? I am more of a Pepsi person myself but there is something about the way they drink it out of a glass bottle that makes my mouth water...it looks so sweet and quenching....I made need to go to Minit Market a get one now.....I better wait until it is at 8 in the morning though.

I put this up for my new friend Ernestine...she too likes the old fashion kind of gal's too!!

I tell you I think I was born in the wrong era.I Love the 1940's....... I love everything about that era. From the way they catered to their homes all they way to their red lipstick!

I MAY NEED TO RECOVER FOR A WHILE

It seems I have a tummy bug..... a headache......and a plain ol I just don't feel good! So I am going to be on commision for a while....But Please keep my family in your prayers.....the flu is going around over here.

But on the bright side I got an award!!!! Yay me!!!!

WHOM THE SON.........WASHES THE DISHES

The other night while making dinner, I had a awful headache, went to bed for about 15 min. prayed over my myself, and within a matter of minutes I was better. Well to add a even bigger smile to my face, I walked into my kitchen to find that my boys were doing the dishes. I was beaming from ear to ear. Right away I thought" Maybe I should make a more updated chore chart"? It sounds good.
"Wait a minute Marisa, let's not get to ahead of yourself, there are only 6 and 3." I mean but they actually love to do the dishes,and I absolutely dread doing the dishes.....it pretty much evens out doesn't it?

And then this cutey yesterday decided to give up his play time outside and help his Dad clean the back yard.........Other thought hit my mind....."maybe I can convince him to go outside and make him think he is play but get him into doping yard work?" Wow what has gotten into me...throwing my duties onto my kids.........I need to let them be kids.......but oh the day ....the joy full day when they are much older and they have a chore list a mile long!!!!!

They better quit surprising me with all this cleaning........it's a neat freak mother like myself that dreams of those day's.
