A prayer is always needed

I am putting out a prayer request to whom ever reads the blog of mine.

My youngest baby Gabriel, went to the doctor to find out he has a hernia in his "area" down there. yes it seems it is possible for a 3 year old to get one how? No sure at all!!!

The good thing is that we don't have to go to Tucson to get a consultation, a Dr. Carter(I think I went to school with his son) will be able to do a check up here.

I believe before Gabriel goes back to the doctor that he will be healed and he won't need any surgery, and the hernia will be gone leaving the doctors scratching their heads.

Because my God is bigger then this situation..... that the devil is trying to fill our family with fear.

Isaiah 41:10- So do not fear for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my rightous right hand.

Once I walked in the door this morning with a thick smell of breakfast still clinging to the air, and having to show Gabe the play button on the dvd player for about 100 times in 5 minutes. I start to get this gloss look over my face, thinking about what am I going to make for dinner , what am I going to wear to church tonight...can't forget to pick up sister at 10....is there anything that I need to do around the house???
"Should I iron now or do it later?".........So doing that later.
"Should I get dark curtains because that darn sun likes to makes its way in here."
(photo courtesy of Aidan my oldest)
The this picture comes to mind, only what about 9 months away...until we go.
The Hubby ,sister and I have decided to take the kiddos to Disneyland for Christmas, I mean that is their present thats it......with the christmas that just pasted we now find their once wonderful gifts everywhere in the room and I hate to see that, so if we are going to spend money why not go to Disneyland and that be the outcome........EVERYONE can enjoy it!
We went last March of 08 and it was beautiful there, we went again in September of 08, it was sooo hot I nearly fainted on occasion....just kidding!! A little.
So now we are going to give it a swing in December and hopefully by the Grace of God we can go.
So I can wipe that dumb look off my face!

.....and then a week later

I know I know I have been away from here for a week now, that's not like me! I was having a really bad week last week. My little Gabe got his hair cut I think I was in shock for about 48 hours, then he got a little sick.... I had a problem with my eye come to find out yesterday that I had an inflamed eye which leads to me not being able to my contacts or eye makeup---and trust I needs me my makeup!!! So I tried to make the best of it, by bring out the soap molds and made a few bars of these lovey's! 2 for the sister 2 for me and 2 for the Hubby! Here is a small preview of what happened at our home on Valentine's Day.
We run a pretty tit schedule here so for the kids to wake up and them having gifts on the kitchen table came as a big surprise for them. They both received the same thing so they wouldn't fight over anything......which in the end totally happened.

See I told you the exact same thing, but someone always found something to fight about!
It just wasn't Valentines Day with out a brother knock out I guess.
Glad to be back and glad that my eye is finally white again.
Now that I feel myself I can get out of my pity party mood and get this blogging in drive again!
And since it's Friday and like I have said before my little Aidy pop doesn't have school......
It's vaca... time!!!!!!!!!
Not.......... I have a load of laundry about a mile high and a kitchen and living room that needs some serious finding!

On the Red Eye

In the start of Monday after my sister asked..

"Sister do you have Pink Eye"?

in reply I answered.. "No, i don't think so why"?

"Your eye is really red" ask answered back.

Now I did my makeup that morning didn't notice it, we went for a walk the Hubby didn't mention a thing about my eye being red, then BAM.....it;s red!

Now it is Wednesday, and it is still red with the feeling that I got punched in the face!

"This can't be good" I keep telling the Hubby

And what does the Hubby do return?

Pray's over me.

Snow Day

We woke up this morning, literally shocked that we had snow covering our yard!
No one expected this one bit, but don't you just love how the Lord works?
Sure to some this is no big deal, but mind you we live in Arizona, where it like never snows!!
It's melting now, but the family put in a good snow ball fight before Aidan went to school today!

I HAVE A HANDS FULL KIND OF DAY TODAY

Every Friday is like a double Friday for me. My little Aidy pop only goes to school Monday thru thursday, so oh how I love Friday's, even though there are times I literally have to force myself to sleep in.
Waking up in the morning to my two boys together makes for an interesting day here at the Salas Casa. I am sure there will be fighting about some soldier toys who gets what, yelling from the big brother because the little brother is on his bed.etc...etc.
But in all honesty I would never change my life, not a second of it or an ounce. There are days when I am up to my neck in chores, but I Love it. I love being a devoted Christian, a devoted wife, and mother.
I was asked not to long ago, Why do you blog?
Blogging to me is a home journal about things that you never want to forget the memory of.
I also do it to meet wonderful people and in doing so I have. I blog to update far family about everyday life here in our home.
But the most important one is I blog for Jesus.....
I am not ashamed to admit to you that I ws a horrible sinner caught in the ways of this world, troubled marriage, painfull past, but once I gave my life to God, everything was changed.
And changed in God it shall stay.
Duty is starting to call as my day start's, and since I have both boys home I am sure to be able to get some good pictures for a tomarrow post!

A GOOD DAY TO BE AT THE FARM

Yesterday Aidan's kindergarden class took a field trip to his teachers farm, the hunny, little son and I went along! It was a good day to be at the farm, to have the kids eat linch in the barn, and to find little eggs every where.
Saturday this here cow became a mama, it's a motherly instinct to protect the young, and that is just what she did!

Sierra was a kind a friendly horse who loved the attention of everyone.

These are the one's the welcomed us as we drove up the roosters and chicken's, they started to like the kids more once they started throwing bread to feed them, all in all both my boys loved it and so did the hubby and I.
It really makes me want a farm, and with the way the economy is going maybe having a farm is better then going shopping and pay an arm and a leg for everything!
Am I right?

It's just another Monday

This weekend is over and I am SO glad that it is already Febuary!
We had a nice family walk on Saturday, enjoying the beautiful warm weather that Arizona likes to offer now and then!

I hate to say this living in Arizona and all, but I was SO going for the Steeler's last night!!
And by golly they won! How bout that?

The Hubby is recovering nicly from the sickness, that plagued our homr for about 3 weeks now!
We are a share alike kind of family, so even though I was at church solo yesterday, it was sure good to just be there.

Am I right?

It's going to be a typical Monday here is the Salas Haven, laundry, dishes, cleaning, kids, Husband, and dinner making hopefully I can fit a nice walk in between there today too!

And to whom ever reads this....there are about 1500 people who are going to get laid off in our small town, please please pray for these family's!!!

If God is for us who can be against us!!!

Day of Worship

You and I were made to worship,
you and I were called to Love!
