OH, those days

It feels good to be here again, on my own computer blogging again....blogging is so addictive isn't it? I find myself at times thinking of what to blog about, and even at time neglecting tim e with my family just to blog. I saw this picture and I just love the warm weather now...I said warm not scorching hot, till your drenched in sweat even when you are in bed! Thats Arizona for ya! Our pecan tress have no life to them right now, but I really do look forward to sitting underthem again watching the hubby strict up the BBQ grill!

Tis seems the sick bug is taking it's turn in my house, it's down to the last personin the house and thats hubby Salas..for about a week or so I went through the whole house not wearing any makeup......but it's clean up time, I need to razzle dazzle the hubby! But I must admit the I am not in the Retro Housewife mood a pair of comfy sweats, no bra, and a shirt would at times fit like a glove!!!

Am I right?

Oh, well back to the blog thing, I used to blog for the fun of it, to keep a memory or just to fill in because I wanted to, no a day's it was starting to feel like a job, taking away time from my kids and just life in general! I am not going to completely stop but there will be day's where I have nothing then there will be days where I might have like 4 blog posts all in one day!

Whats the point of having a blog to keep memories, if all I am doing is missing them because I am on the computer?

Am I right?

I am almost certain, that the fighting between the boys will minimize, and the relationship that we build as a family will change for the much needed better.

I have missed my blog for some time now I know it has been less then a week with a picture, but now my routine is back to the same way now that she is fixed!!

My dear computer was a little ill this week......
come to found out she had about 846 viruses(not to brag but we made a new record)...how I hang my head in shame that I didn't know this about my own computer......You think you know someone....then bam they go and hit you with this!!!

She is recovering well at home now, and she should be ready and up for a good healthy post by tomarrow!!!

My computer is having a really bad week for right now I my post with no pix or not post at all.


Until then I am going to be watching Flywheel(an awesome movie)

Fireproof, because I was lucky to get it on DVD!!!!

2:45 and ON

It all started this morning at 2:45 when my son and Hubby come wake me up to tell me Aidan as an ear ache. With one eye open and the other one closed I put ear drops in and gave him a dose of Ibuprofen..with in minutes Aidan was out.
I lay there for about 15 min. trying to get back to sleep impossible, once I am up I am up!
After flipping in the bed until 3:50 I decided to just get up.
At 4:30 I took a shower , did my makeup, read my bible, put a load in the dryer......this should have been happening at 8:30, but not at the crack of dawn!

Mean while while I went to the grocery store paid some bills Aidan's school had been calling me to let me know his earache has come back and he needs to go home.....Two kids sick at the same time......why o why does this have to happen everytime William is at work?
So my 10:30 I was like a chicken with out a head......running back and forth to different rooms to different kids!!! But with God on my side I am the strength to move a mountain......

I just hope that it isn't a big one because I am pooped!

TARDY TUESDAYS

I dodn't really do that much yesterday, and this is how I feel today.
For most of the day i watch everything about Obama...still I can't believe he is own president!
Cleaned out a much needed closet, which turned into a nightmare on 7th str.
Yelled and begged the boys to pick up their room...which they never did......
Ironed a bunch of clothes...............realizing my Hubby has more clothes then me and my sister combined?? What is that about??
Last but not least couldn't figure out what I was going to make for dinner....so we didn't have dinner we had breakfast....for dinner.........country eggs, sausage, and pancakes..that there was some fillen supper!

I AT TIMES NEED ONE

Being a stay at home full time mom, this little remote would come in handy.

I have always liked the more updated "Stepford Wives" movie, I think it would be magical to have a life like they do, but to have a remote husband, don't get me wrong I have a good hubby but at time's having to repeat to take out the trash over and over starts to get old, but if I just had a button to push......BAM right then it would happen.

Or to have a put away button.......the possibilities are endless on that one...his tools, socks, undies, jeans, wallet...the list goes on and on.

The romance button.....I would have that button taped down all the time!!!!

I need to manufacture in this remote ASAP.......because I am going to start day dreaming about a list of things about a mile long!

Though the first time this morning I was able to awake with you..the second time around was lonely...I missed you!!

I send you kisses while you are at work...the boys want a bowl of cereal....the house is on the verge of getting cleaned...but it's still quite...your morning worship music is being replaced with the sounds of the washing machine on the rinse cycle....your bible reading is probably taking place right now at work as we speak.

I am looking forward to your morning call......but the only thing ringing right now a strange sound coming from the walls and Gabriel saying how he wants "his daddy" or sugar.

Good Morning my Darling,
How fun it was last night to be giddy like little teenagers laughing and talking late last night while the children slept.How at 10:30 we decided to raid the fridge and have no remorse about it.
Well darling what shall we today?
The house is clean....the shopping is done...let's go and be adventurous today shall we?
Shall we go and start adding to our "Disneyland Fund"?
Shall we go to the park with the little one while Aidan is at school?

Good Morning My Darling,
How wonderful it is to have you home this week. To be able to wake to that gorgeous face is a dream come true. I was just thinking about this picture of you, do you remember this trip darling? It was our last family trip to Disneyland, oh, what fun it was wasn't it? Thank you for taking us twice last year. Can you believe God willing we have been married for 5 years out of our 81/2 years together? Where does the time go?

Myself, my sister, and the children are so lucky to have you part of our lives...you make life fun!
You don't mind as a parent, uncle, husband and brother in law that you have at times get your hands dirty...what a man!!!

I Love how you make sure no one is ever left out... I love how you understand that my sister is my Best Friend and you would never take that away from me. i Love to see the twinkle is the children's eyes when you mention we are going to go back to Disneyland for Christmas, and how funny it is to hear Christina ask if it is in three days....(i wish).

I Love that no matter how crazy my ideas are you always let me grow through with them ...even if they leave us broke for like a week!!

ANNIVERSARY WEEK

This weekend is my wedding anniversary. I am going to make this whole week about my Hubby, and share some love letter's to him, enjoy if you want and blush if you need to!

Oh, how I love thee! It is Monday morning, and the day is about to start, while all the while your night is just about to do the same, you crept in this morning from a long night of working your cute fanny off for this family. How I Thank God that you were the one he chose for me to be my Husband! I Thank God daily for you and your job and the wonderful way God provides for us, and how he has blessed us, he have come along way, but that way was only the way I want to come with God!

You in so many ways bring the light into our house. And in so many ways light up your families life just the same!

DAY OF WORSHIP

This is the day that the Lord has made let us rejoice and be glad in it!!

2:30 a.m. .........EARLY SATURDAY MORNING

This morning very early I had to get up to go check on the little one, went into his room (mind you I don't have my glasses or contacts in or anything) to see if Gabriel needed to be covered up, his bed is empty, I check the top bunk...nothing...I check my bed, but I don't remeber feeling Gabriel in my bed either......at that point my heart went to my stomach...."No the rapture didn't happen Aidan is still here" yes that hit my mind!

Something said to turn on my light in my room and badabing...there was Gabriel camped out under the computer desk!!

BIRTHDAY REVIEW

My Birthday Thanks to Jesus was wonderful! I woke up early that morning to spend with God first thing! I was then greeted by some wonderful gifts by my favorite wonderful Aunt! I got everything I asked for and more! Here above a Dear sweet friend of mine gave me a journal that I absolutly fell in love with(Hope I so thought of you when I opened it) and yes I do of course love "I Love Lucy"!!

That Morning when I got back from doing my weekly bill paying, going to Aidan's school with him and doing the grocery shopping, I had a house that was spotless, and a handsome Hubby to have done it all!

Nothing not a crumb!

The Livng room to me sparkled! That gorgous Hubby of mine knows how to make the lady of the house very happy!!!

My wonferful sister got that sign for me!!! I screamed (literally) when I opened it! I was so surprised, because I had really wanted on of these for a really long time! SHe knows me toooo well!! What a lucky sister I am to have such a wonderful sister as her!!

I have to "brag" about my Hubby today!
I have had this horrible respiratory bug....in doing so, I have been able to read my bible, relax and try to get better, while my Hubby is in the back ground doing the dinner, washing dishes, keeping up with the boys....without a single complaint!!
I have been nestled in my room with vapors and heating pads...with three seasons of 7th Heaven!!
I have my 27th birthday, coming right around the corner.....I would be greatly happy to be better for that day!
But whatever the case may be......I still Love my Lord!!!

FIREPROOF

Tonight we (as in my sister and I) were lucky and were able to get a free viewing of Fireproof the movie.

My Hubby went the day before, I came up with the idea of watching it seperatly so we can learn and grow from the film and then come together with things about it and discuss what we need more of in our marriage.

For more of the movie then half we both cried.......alot!!

Even in Facing the Giants......I cried I never saw that movie either until it came out on TBN Friday night.

We left there satisfied tonight...I can't wait to own myself.

The movie was pretty much what my marriage itself was..until we both cried out to God.

How God moves in our marriage today still amazes me. The world failed us over and over again, but once God become the Number one priority, he has never failed us ever.

He didn't bring us this far to leave us,

He didn't teach us to swim to let us drown,

He didn't build a home in us to move away,

He didn't set us to let us down.

SINCE ITS A NEW YEAR I DON'T WANT TO FALL BEHIND ANY LONGER!

This is an article that I should have posted long ago, but got lazy or I fell behind, and I know longer want to do that. I love the relationships that I have built with some sister's, and I want to continue just that.


Hello, my name is Marisa Lerin Salas, I am 26 but will be 27 in a little less then a week. I have been a Christian most of my life but fell away from God one of the biggest regrets that I Have ever made but the Lord welcomed me back with open and Loving arm's. I believe in the healing power of God, I believe that he died on the cross and three days later rose from the dead, I believe in the Holy Spirit, and I believe that Jesus is my Savior!

I found this study be literally stumbling across it. I was praying to God to direct me in a study to be more in to the word, and I found Sunny and her new Study, instantly I was hooked, to the point of being stuck on my computer all the time.
The reason I wanted to join was to become closer to my Savior and also to my Husband, being Submissive was a department I needed a shine up on. Being a wife is a privilege especially when you are blessed with a man of God. God made us one once we said "I Do" and I wanted to add God's fulfilment to the both of us.

I have been with my Husband now for 8 1/2 years, in the years we have lost many battles because we didn't have God in our lives, and in the years we have fought more battles, with only the grace that God blessed us with, were we able to handle them. Married life to me is wonderful, I would never want my life to be any other way! I love my Hubby, he is my Best friend, my rock, my helper , my other half that completes me.

We have 2 children together Aidan Daniel Salas who is 6
and Gabriel William Salas who is 3, they both are the center of our Joy and we Thank God for them everyday, just today we were talking about how much we love to be parents "their" parents. With them our little family of 4 is fully and happily complete.

I am very glad to be able to be part of this study!!
I look forward to meeting other sisters in Christ and taking the journey with so many other Wives!

We rang in the New Year with our church family!

OUr service started at8 had song service and then a short sermon,

following that we had fellowship nd then our annual talent show....which was so fun.

Then near midnight we took our communion for the New Year and right at 12 we just just praise to God......it was sooooo amazing, there really is no better way to welcome in the New Year is there??
