2:50 am and the neighbors

I in natural am a light sleeper, so at 2:30 this when a nice breeze was coming into my room and I didn't hear the wind chimes on the front porch I opened one of my eyes...what did I hear instead?

My down the street fighting in the middle of the road like it was 2 in the afternoon, and about as drunk as they can be.

Now I am not going to repeat the words that were said come on people this is G rating here but I will telling it was somewhat rather amusing.

I nudge the hubby..."Do you hear that?" I said

"Where's is coming from" he asked

I opened my curtains over there...........I had to go get my glasses on because my contacts were resting in the place, when I came back you should have seen the crowd scatter like flies..

I said a quick prayer.."God please protect innocent people out on the road tonight"

After the show was over the hubby and I stayed awake for a while talking...Why are we always the "lucky" ones to have to get neighbors like that? Seriously every time we have moved we have always had 1 neighbor that had to by "it"....what happened to bringing food over when a family member is sick, or taking a welcome dish to a new neighbor...but on my behalf the new guy across the street literally gives me the chills.....moving on!

I guess we just have the luck......but for now I will be pretending that I live in Stepford and that the Robot wives will forever be my friends and won't be up at 2 in the morning fighting, because they are well rested in their beds awaiting the next morning when they can come over to my house and share a cup of .....something!!!

Oink, Oink

LAdies and Gent's the Swine flu it our house.. GROSS!!!! I felt so dirty..my oldest was the one it hit...he was out for a week from school with the sickness that plagued our house and went from one child to the next.

We are over it now and all is well as can be....but I would have really freaked out of the kids grew snouts and started oinking at me.

The house is still in recovery fromthe sickness everything needs to de rewashed resprayed and removed.....

So in case I am absent yet again the maid will be catching up on much needed cleaning.....But I won't be gone for to long......

I have some catching up to do!

Well looky there I have some catching up to do here don't I? It seem's I have been absent for quite some time now.....it has been a crazy house for the past few days, we have some sickypoo kiddos on our hands, so our nurse abilities have been put in to overdrive.

Let's see where do I begin? Oh yes the exciting part is that my wonderful sister and niece have moved in for a while, she thinks its a short move but I would like it to be long, but it seem's there is no convincing her, and the boys love that she is here, as do I....it's nice to have some female here along with me.

It seem's we are on the battle field with a few things, and at times like these it can be hard to stay on track and trust God,what can I say I don't handle stress very well.

Well looky there it's Saturday and the time is 7:41 and I have been up already an hour ugh........my little Aidan isn't feeling so great today, so I must tend to my child and return very soon...because deep down this whole time that I didnt blog, I missed it.

While sitting on the couch in a black shirt and my newly pink Tinkerbell pj pants, I patiently wait for Oprah to come on. I don't watch all watch her daily, only when something catches my eye.

A dear, sweet woman that I have come to know through the blog world, was to appear...I have followed her blog for nearly two years and I followed her recovery after her and her hubby survived and air plane crash..

While anticipation stung me.....I watched...and watched and recorded and watched again. This woman is amazing. Plain and simple..AMAZING! You literally feel how much she loves her family and even though her appearance has changed due to the accident....she is still as beautiful as can be.

She doesn't have to do a thing but blink her eyes and it makes you want to be a better person, a better mother, a better woman. I told have the time right now to cover the whole story about her and what happened, you can find that yourself by going to Oprah's website.

I am Thankful that I have a Loving and Forgiving God,

I am thankful that I am saved and that my God died on the cross for me..he literally paid a debt I can never repay.

I am thankful for me health.

I am for my family.

I am thankful that I have the ability to get out of bed daily with no pain or trouble.

I don't want my children to always remember me on the computer, while they want me to play with..and so on.....I don't want to take little things with my life, family, and God for granted.

So Thank You God for giving my so many many chance's for a do over with everything in my life until I get it right. Thank You for loving and setting me free. Thank You for that ever lasting Love that you have for me along with your Forgiveness and Grace. Than You God for being.........God!!

Cool is in the Horizon

Well folks it seems to be finally cooling off here in the Arizona parts. And when that happens I like to break out with my pumpkins/Autumn stuff. Here are my leaves that I put on our dinning table, every year.. I have been patiently waiting to put these here.

These are on my end tables, my leaves and pumpkin bowl..for some reason when I see these I think candy corn?? I don't know!!!

And then this....... I got this wonderful apron form my mother...adorable...I have always wanted this type of apron....good thing she read my blog.

Hate to cut it short, but we are having a BBQ for celebrating, that the cool air is starting to finally come.

Now that he's 7

I am amazed at how much he has grown and how fast time does really pass. yesterday was his 7th Birthday, even though I held back the tears quite a few times.....I just couldnt believe he is 7.

Picinic lunch

With the weather finally cooling down (lets hope it stay's that way) the Hubby and I decided to take >this little cutie for a picinic. So we packed up the picinic basket made some so yummy chicken salad, with treats to follow and off we went for a while the Gabbers had the whole park to himself.....He thought he was a King literelly!! The breeze was just right and the shade was like a little island and it was so relaxing!! Glad that we did it! We need to do it way more often then sit at home! I know I have been gone for a while, it seems that we have had a little addition to the Salas family This> here is Jack and one word for him is LOVE!! He is the most sweetest, obiediant Loveable pet I have ever had or met!

Another reason I have been absent i was busy maken some suds...this here is an example of what I did this weekend......You like?? It's a hobby and I love it..

The Apron that I have wanted for OOO so long

I dont beg nor do I plead...but just one thing that I have been wanting for such a long time is a real home made apron.

I am not lucky enough to have a sewing machine, but I want like super want one.

So after reading this if it is laid on your heart to make one for little old me....

The end of a busy week the start of a busy Weekend!

I am so sorry my dear friends that I have been absent for almost all the week.

I had a horrible bug that decided instead of leaving it staid for an extra unwanted few days.

By Thursday I was feeling pretty good, I had alot of chores that I had to catch up on......and I mean alot. That same night we were approached by a neighbor who has a dog the size of a Lion,,,,(no really) and knew that Aidan loved him so instead of taking him to the pound....we took him in, thank God for our Huge backyard.

Friday, was my Hubby's Birthday...filled with gifts.....Taco's, rice and beans made by yours truly ;) and alot of cake and ice cream.

To start our morning off this morning I woke up to our little sugar (my little dog who ruled the house before other's came along) popped out three of the cutest pups I have seen...Every Grammy Say's that....NO?

Busy, Busy, Busy.....chores, chores, chores...I must be on my way Darling..until Monday!

A Monday, a sniffle, a new pup and cupcakes

To just start the morning: Last night the first thing that hit my mind, before I went to bed what "Oh I get to sleep in tomorrow...NO SCHOOL! And if my Hubby would have told me "You will be up by 5:30 " I would have laughed in his face! But low and behold, the child that I struggle with daily to wake up in the morning , he was the first one up AT 5: 30 int he morning, if it was possible I just might have spit fire!!! Then to make matter worse I have finally caught what everyone has had.....a cold..or something like a cold....blah!

However the day must go on....I still have to go grocery shopping for a few item needs for Friday(it's my hubby's birthday), and most of all I have a BBQ to host tonight.......speaking if which I have to check on them cup cakes I'll only be a bit Hun.....all right with that being checked off the list,

I will finish the night off with some needed completed homework with the Aidypop, take a nice vapor shower and call it a night until when........5:30 the next morning!!

Sweet September

It's here and I can't be more excited...Sweet,long awaited...September!!!
This means that the weather "should" start to cool down and once that happens I like to bake, bake ,bake....

I love to have the doors open...and the windows open and to hear the quite sounds around the house because the cooler will be turned off.....

But for now it is the first day of September at a high of 101, today.

But I know that September won't disappoint me

My weekend recipe

This weekend I tried my hand out at making some homemade bread...I was worried that it wasn't going to rise.....or even taste good...so I had my guinea pig try it out first because let's face it..he will tell me straight up if it is nasty or good!!!! Well here goes nothen................

I think it was good because here was his second piece with some butter and honey....

Oh and there is Gabriel wearing my glasses..thinking he was going to turn into me!

My day of Worship

My horrible Friday......Glad it is over

(though I didn't look this happy yesterday)

Yesterday Morning was a rough one and I mean a rough one.........I had the worst, the hugest migraine ever......I thought I was a goner! I had to call the hubby who came to the rescue and was Mr. Mom for me!

I for one hate going to the hospital and I wasn't about to make the kiddo's go there either, so my Hubby called my Pastor put the phone nest to me ear and through the phone prayed with me.... I literally felt the healing hand of God over me the next thing I new my headache was gone....vanished!

After praying over myself my Hubby next to me doing the same and just Thanking and praising God for his healing.....my nightmare had ended......and boy was I hungry though.

Glad for Saturday to be here to be able to do my house updates and to be able to anything I want instead of being in bed.

Cloudy days......saying it's A.O.K.

Today with it being Monday, this is usually how the house will be today, happily sitting on my all day, while I go about doing my daily chore's.......and you know what? I don't mind a bit........all I have to do is have the ambition to get off the computer and dive into it.
So Dear Monday,
How about we be friend's today? Nothing in the mail that needs to be paid.....or how about no homework with the kiddo tonight? *wink, wink*

But on the best note ever, I woke up this morning with the clouds covering the sky, and evidence that while we were sleeping last night the rain had a nice fall. Sunny day's are so common that when you wake up and it looks like you should still be in bed....now them's are the morning's to get up and dance for........Thank You Lord!!!!!

And even though my little Gabriel is sickypoo it's ok Monday we are still friends..because he got sick Sunday..........But hey that's the Lords day you can't be angry on the Lord's day.

So laundry,vacuuming,meds on the dot and everything else in between........I'm a coming.........

News around the Salas house is that my Aideepop is going to be sported a new look come next week!!! He will officially be wearing his own pair of glasses..... What can I say the kids has his mother's and father's eye sight!!! Both weak and not the greatest..but I am certain that he is going to look just as cute as his daddy!! In other news I am near as excited as one can be because August is almost over and I am frankly tired of this Arizona heat.. i nearly jump for joy when I see that the temp outside is a high somewhere in the 90;s...I just know that day will come again....I just know it!

And lastly here is the gramma that the boys visited with in the beginning of the week.

As usual the boys got what they wanted and didnt seem to mind a bit!!! I am glad to finally get back on track now with certain things......but for now I must tend to the Aideepop he seem's to have caught a tummy bug!!

My motto...only for today!

I have a visitor here....my mother!!! I think I may have sneaked a picture or so in and will post, but for the mean time she saw the house the first day clean and thats all I need...but if anyone is happy enough to come and update it until she leaves be my guest.

I dont think I will have any takers which is why I just want you to make yourself at home and relax...I believe I am putting every Tuesday as my relax day.....

I almost fell off the banwagon of blogging but ever so near here I am and I will continue to it daily...unless we here are just having a dry day!!!!

Back from Hiatus..........School is in session

Well we are back........school is in session.............schedules are back to being updated, but I have to admit that Gabriel and I miss Aidan alot..........we were so bored yesterday it wasnt even funny.

It's Monday........need I say more?!

Oh August I have been waiting for you!!

I have been waiting for this day for a long time.....
July was a horrible month for me and I can't really tell you why..because I don't even really know, I just know that I really disliked July!!

We have 4 months a 18 days until we have our Christmas family vacation to Disneyland, it makes me want to jump for joy just thinking about.......

I keep telling myself it will be here before I know it and I can't wait!!!

1 pkg. of Salt- Salt is known to melt ice.....and at times there are some icy cries and tears that need to be melted away.
1 Box of Band aids- To cover the Boo Boo's.
1 Huge heaping of Faith- To know that under those band aids GOD is doing all the Healing of those booboo's.
1 bag of Joy- To make every life moment Joyful.
1 Humble Pie- Because Humbly we come before God to admit that we are sinner's.
2 bushels of Peace- To know that Peace should always be with us, for the hand of God is always over us.
A nice wonderful Sunday-To be able to go and worship my God with an open and willing heart.....These are the best kind of Sundays.

As different as Night and Day

My boys are as different as night and day not only in appearance but in everything they do.They can NEVER agree on what to watch, what to play, who's the leader ans so forth. Since Aidan is the oldest it is only right that he be granted the top dresser drawer, he neatly puts his clothes awayas shown. I always ask when they tell me they are done with something "Is it something I would aprrove of?"
In response I get a " I better go check one more time." So yes I do approve Aidan's most of the time....
Then there is Gabriel's laundry that he"put's away". I walk into the room everytime with my jaw dropped thinking."Is he serious" after about 5 fits and a"I cant I have a tummy ache" that was never present all the while he is making his brother mad. I am finally able to get Gabriel to to return to his room to "fix" the problem.

I am come to terms that I just need to put his laundry away for the time being if I dont want to double my loads.

I woke up this morning not feeling 100% perky like I usually do.

I figured it is best today that I stay clear from blogging........and try to get myself to that 100%, i need to I have nursery in church this evening!
